Im PI Planning wird der Planungs-Scope aller Teams für das nächste Planning Increment festgelegt. Damit werden im PI Planning signifikante Geschäftsentscheidungen getroffen. Ein Planning Increment dauert in der Regel rund 3 Monate und umfasst mehrere Sprints von je 2–4 Wochen. In PI Planning, the planning scope of all teams for the next Planning Increment is defined. This means that significant business decisions are made during PI Planning. A Planning Increment usually lasts around 3 months and spans several sprints of 2–4 weeks each.

Die Chance, alle Mitarbeitenden zu erreichen The chance to reach everyone

In den meisten Organisationen reisen alle Mitarbeitenden zum PI Planning an — wer nicht vor Ort sein kann, wird remote zugeschaltet, sofern die Anwesenheit aller erforderlich ist. PI Plannings finden in der Regel alle 12 Wochen statt, oft quartalsweise. Diese seltene Gelegenheit, alle an einen Tisch zu bringen, sollte man optimal nutzen. In most organizations everyone travels to the PI Planning — anyone who can't be on-site joins remotely, whenever the presence of all is required. PI Plannings usually take place every 12 weeks, often quarterly. This rare opportunity to bring everyone to one table should be used to the fullest.

Über michAbout me

Ich bin Tina Thieme — Agile Coach und Scrum Masterin aus Dortmund. Über zehn Jahre Berufserfahrung haben mich vom kaufmännischen Einkauf über technische Kundenberatung und Teamführung bis zur Assistenz der Geschäftsführung geführt. Zuletzt habe ich für die Digital Business Unit der KION AG vierteljährlich PI Plannings für rund 180 Personen geplant und durchgeführt, Kundenevents organisiert und Workshops moderiert. Dazu kommt Erfahrung im öffentlichen Sektor: als Leistungssachbearbeiterin im SGB II habe ich Bürgergeldanträge bearbeitet und Schutzfälle mit besonderem Augenmerk auf Datenschutz betreut. Heute bündle ich all das in zwei Angeboten: PI Planning as a Service und agilem Coaching.

I'm Tina Thieme — Agile Coach and Scrum Master based in Dortmund. More than ten years of professional experience have taken me from commercial purchasing through technical customer service and team leadership to executive assistance. Most recently, I planned and ran quarterly PI Plannings for around 180 people for the Digital Business Unit of KION AG, organized customer events and facilitated workshops. On top of that comes public-sector experience: as a benefits caseworker under SGB II, I processed citizen's-allowance applications and supported protection cases with particular attention to data protection. Today I bring all of that together in two services: PI Planning as a Service and agile coaching.
